This month’s meeting was preceded at 8:30 AM by a 4CE credit seminar on the subject of “Strategic Scanning”, featuring Virginia Bates. It covered the successful use of technology, agency profitability, marketing strategies and carrier relationships. The attendees were so engaged with the subjects that they were riveted to their seats. After a recess the membership luncheon meeting began at 1:00 PM.

Pres. Mike Romeo invited Past Pres. Don Hester up to deliver the invocation. After some housekeeping announcements he introduced and thanked our sponsors:

Past Pres. Tom Crowley, Nominating Committee Chair gave his report, naming the slate of officers and directors for the coming year. The slate was approved as submitted.

Program co-chair Joanne Bentivegna then introduced Virginia Bates, our guest speaker who elaborated on the subjects she covered in the morning CE class. Quite a bit of discussion and Q & A followed her talk.

The meeting ended with a drawing for a digital camera donated by Jennifer Savnik of Branch Restoration Services. This was followed by the 50/50 drawing and Rich dela Sota won $113., the other half going into our scholarship fund.
