JANUARY/FEBRUARY 2008

Holiday Wishes From The President and Board

As the year quickly comes to a close (they seem to come quicker as you age), your board and I would like to wish you a happy and safe holiday season and a healthy and prosperous 2008 for all.

Since my daughter Stephanie knows Santa’s secret and she sends her letter directly to him, I’ve asked her to include my Christmas letter this year.

Dear Santa:

I believe I have been a good boy this year (at least my wife says so) so can you please bring me the following:

  1. That the following would have their re-insurance and/or insurance policies non-renewed because of wind exposure: Allstate offices, the Superintendent of Insurance, Eric Dinallo’s office, and the State’s Legislative Building so that they would finally understand that there is a property crisis on Long Island.
  2. That the “powers to be”, will get people that actually work in the insurance business involved the next time they decide to reform the Workers Compensation laws.
  3. Have Shelly Silver star in the roll as Mr. Scrooge in a remake of the movie “A Christmas Carol” so that the spirits may show him what 240/241 and the late notice have done to our industry.
  4. That my two nephews Mike and Mike will stop cross dressing.
  5. My last wish is, please make my brother Joe give up singing.

Thank You
Uncle Mike

P.S I’ll put the beer, cookies and carrots out as usual.
